Mainvest uses AES 256-bit encryption for storing sensitive data. AES 256 is one of the most used encryption standards in the financial services industry.

Mainvest uses FDIC-insured escrow accounts with our partner bank Evolve Bank and Trust. These accounts are governed to only release funds when and if a campaign exceeds their target amount raised, otherwise funds would go back to the original investors. Mainvest never holds investor funds.
