Businesses on Mainvest are provided with a grace period. They must have at least one calendar quarter of revenue generation until their first revenue report and repayment become due.

Mainvest provides a grace period in the investor agreements so that businesses have additional time to deploy capital and generate revenue before beginning to provide repayments to their investors. In their first repayment, investors are entitled to their share of the business's revenue starting at the date the investment round closed and the funds were received by the business.
