When you invest on Mainvest, your money is held safely in an escrow account with our banking partner Evolve Bank & Trust until the project is fully subscribed, i.e. until the full amount is invested. It is then distributed to the issuer of the project, minus our fees which are calculated on the full amount invested and not with each individual investment. If the project is not fully subscribed, your money will be returned to you without any deduction. Mainvest never holds investor funds.
