Occasionally, our banking partner will take extra time to verify users. This can be a few minutes, or in some cases, a few days.

If you see this error appear, ensure that all information is entered correctly. If your address isn't saving, try a few different variations (for example, the USPS verified address, rather than the variation you tend to use). If your address is not yet USPS verified (this can happen for brand new addresses) you can use a different address, such a previous address or your work address, as we won't send mail to you.

In some cases, you'll need to upload a picture of your ID to confirm your identity for additional verification. Ensure that the name on your ID and bank account match the name on your Mainvest account.

If you're unable to link your bank account due to a profile issue, contact support. More often than not, once you link a bank account directly and read and fill out all disclosures, you'll be able to initiate your investment.
