Troubleshooting microdeposits

If you've linked using your account and routing number to receive microdeposits and verify your account, this may be useful to troubleshoot any issues.

If you do not see your microdeposits in your account

It can take up to 3 business days for the microdeposits to appear in your bank account. If it's been more than 3 business days, try re-linking your account, as there may have been a typo in your account or routing number. If you've linked a savings account rather than a checking account, they may not appear because many banks have limitations on transactions for savings accounts. Occasionally, banks will flag microdeposits as fraud because they're random amounts, and if this happens, you'll need to contact your bank to find out what the amounts were. The easiest solution is to upload a picture of a voided check to your account.

If your microdeposits are entered incorrectly

If you enter the wrong microdeposits, or if your account is saying that the amounts are incorrect, contact support and we'll be able to verify your account. Again, the easiest solution will be to link a picture of a voided check instead.

If your account says "locked and cannot be used on Mainvest"

This is likely due to a typo in your account or routing number. Try re-linking your account, or uploading a picture of a voided check.

Remember that once you link your microdeposits, you will have to complete your investment transaction from the beginning. Linking your microdeposits alone will not confirm your investment.
